Fall Toy Preview!

While  news about our 2012 Gamewright catalog is still tightly under wraps, our parent company, Ceaco, is making a strong showing with some awesome brand new puzzles at this week’s Fall Toy Preview in Dallas! Since next year marks the exciting 25th anniversary (WOW!) of Ceaco, we wanted to share more with you about this fun industry event – and get a sneak peak at Ceaco’s 2012 catalog.

The Toy Industry Association’s Fall Toy Preview is an exclusive event where some of the top toy manufacturers in the country get to reveal their newest product lines to mass-market buyers. Held at the Dallas Market Center, the event is not open to the media, so this is an exclusive inside look at our offerings for next year! If you happen to be attending this event, you can find us at booth #1201.

Next year, in addition to launching the Ceaco Classics series, a collection of our best known images over the last 25 years, Ceaco is debuting 171 new puzzles from over 40 artists! The line includes new works from some of their staple artists like Thomas Kinkade and Jane Wooster Scott as well as many new and exciting artists and properties. Ceaco’s 2012 lineup doesn’t disappoint and is full of humorous, unique, inspirational and traditional puzzles!

A newly licensed artist series for 2012 is the Sylvia Weinstock Cakes 550 piece series. Sylvia is known as the “Queen of Cakes” and creates more than 500 cakes a year in all shapes and sizes, always including her signature handmade edible floral designs.

Debbie Mumm is another new artist for Ceaco and we are proud to feature this winning lifestyle brand. The 550 piece puzzle assortment adds to her impressive resume of over two dozen licensees, including calendars and stationery, greeting cards, hobby kits and home accessories that are present at all major retailers, hobby and book stores.

CeacoKIDS
CeacoKIDS will introduce its most exciting puzzle lineup to date.

The Pinkaliciousassortment includes sticker and glitter puzzles and will have new images for 2012. The series is based on the successful books by Victoria Kahn, which remain on the NY Times best seller list.

LalaLoopsy, the wildly popular kids’ property about rag dolls that magically came to life, will feature fuzzy puzzles and glitter puzzles.

MoshiMoshiKawaii puzzles are based on the series of activity books, a brand new sensation in the USA straight from Japan! Ceaco is happy to license this fun puzzles series. The brand started life as a good luck charm gift property in Japan, and has since developed into the freshest kawaii (Japanese meaning cute and kitsch) publishing property around the world.

“We can’t believe that this marks our 25th anniversary in business!” says Donna Webster, Vice President of Licensing for Ceaco. “Our company is fortunate to have had the support and talent of so many people – artists possessing the talent to allow us to create some of the most beautiful puzzles in the world, a stellar creative team to package and design our product and of course, our loyal customers who expect the best and no less!”

And now the moment we’ve all been waiting for… the cover of the new Ceaco catalog!!!

We hope all you gamers are just as excited about these new puzzles as we are. Which ones do you think you might try out next year?
