Dweebies, Dweebies & more Dweebies!

Did you hear the good news? Dweebies won the About.com Readers’ Choice Award for Best Children’s Game of 2010. Thanks to all who voted! Dweebies has won a total of nine awards since its release in 2010, including Dr. Toy’s Best Vacation ProductsOppenheim Toy Portfolio Gold Award and The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval.

The Great Wall of Dweebies

There are 27 unique Dweebies in the deck of cards….but we’ve received hundreds of very unique Dweebies in the mail from fans. In each Dweebies game, we include a “Draw Your Own Dweebie” card. Every week, I receive a huge stack of hand-drawn Dweebies from fans. We post a different one each week on our Facebook page, and occasionally pick a random winner (who gets a prize pack of Gamewright games). As you can see in the photo to the left, I post a few of my personal favorites on my cubicle wall. Nothing like fan-drawn art to brighten up a beige cubicle! 😀

We receive too many Dweebies to post all our favorites on Facebook. So, here’s an inspiring gallery of a handful of fan-drawn Dweebies.

What do you think of them? Pretty awesome, huh?

Hello – My daughter loved creating her own Dweebie. I’ve been looking for more Dweebie printouts – like the “Create your own Dweebie” card that I can print so we can make more. Is this available somewhere? Thanks.

We seem to be late in joining the Dweebie drawing contest. We wondered, however, if it’s still going on. If it is, do you still pick a random winner to win a pack of games? We have a stack of your games now (just got Dweebies for Christmas) and are gathering board/family games for a 4-month trip to Moscow this spring. Thanks for creating such fun games!!
